WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR A CUSTOM UNIT?

Custom units takes 2-3 weeks to be completed. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with an estimated completion date, followed by an email with your tracking information once your custom unit has been shipped.

HOW SHOULD MY HAIR BE STYLED UNDERNEATH MY WIG?

To guarantee a nice and flat wig installation, your hair should be braided as neat and fine as possible. For lace closure units, we recommend parting your hair where you would like the part on the closure to lay flat, and proceed to braid downwards from there. For frontal units, small straight back braids are recommended.

IF I HAVE NO HAIR CAN I STILL WEAR A WIG?

Yes ma’am! If you have very short hair or you’re an alopecia candidate or cancer survivor, please inform us so that we can ensure the unit will fit you flawlessly.

CAN I USE MY OWN EXTENSIONS FOR MY CUSTOM UNIT?

Yes, it is possible to use your own extensions for your desired custom unit. The pricing will be $300 plus shipping and handling. The turnaround time will be the same as ordering a full custom unit from the website.

ARE RUSH ORDERS AVAILABLE?

Yes, rush orders are available for an additional rate of $75 and the turn around time is one week.

HOW ARE THE WIGS SECURED ON?

All of our Covagurll Customs that features a lace closure are made to fit an average head size between 22-25 inches providing a perfectly secure fit for almost everyone. Our Covagurll Customs are made to your exact head measurements. Both our lace closure units & frontal units are made on  breathable, fitted caps with an elastic band added to hold the lace in place as well as a comb in the back (upon request)

HOW LONG WILL THE UNIT LAST?

With proper care, our lace closure units can last UP TO three years and our frontal units can last up to one year. Proper care entails minimum heat use, regular shampoo & conditioning, no rough handling, and minimum sleeping in the unit. Following these recommendations will suggest longer life of the unit.

Glue Removal
The most important step in the maintenance service is the removal of glue and or residue from the lace of your unit. if not removed properly the adhesive that you use to attach your lace unit can ultimately be damaging if not removed properly. It is encouraged to remove all adhesive from your unit EACH and EVERY time you remove your unit. 

Shampoo
The second step of the maintenance service is thoroughly shampooing and cleansing the unit. It is encouraged to hold the unit in one hand while using the opposite hand to gently wash and distribute shampoo.  For best results, do not agitate the unit as you would on a normal scalp. An up and down motion will suffice. 

Conditioning
The final step in the maintenance service is the conditioning of your unit. Following the same instructions from before while conditioning.  Using products that are specifically created to keep your unit looking and feeling as if you just left the salon. Remembering to only detangle the unit during this step while conditioner is saturated on the hair+-*9.

OVERNIGHT CARE

It is HIGHLY recommended and encouraged to store your Covagurll Custom on a mannequin head each night so the longevity of the unit is preserved. This will prevent the unit from becoming matted or tangled, and it will also help the unit maintain its current style such as curls or straigthening.
